The Foundation Fighting Blindness is very enthusiastic about the documentary See What Eye See being produced by Image Reaction Productions and Bullit Films and featuring Brian Fischler, a young man losing his vision to retinitis pigmentosa.
Retinitis pigmentosa is an inherited disease that typically strikes people early in their lives, causing a gradual loss of vision and often results in complete blindness. FFB is committed to finding treatments and cures for retinal degenerative diseases such as RP. Sadly there is currently no cure for RP. However, scientists are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to find a cure.
We believe that this documentary will help bring awareness to this serious problem and will hopefully increase much-needed funding for research. For the reasons stated above, FFB is in support of See What Eye See.
